Essay Bootcamp: Crafting Your Story With Confidence, Purpose and Impact

A student’s essay is one of the few parts of the college application where they get to speak directly to the admissions office. In today’s competitive admissions environment, a strong essay can help a student stand out beyond grades, test scores, and activities.

According to the National Association for College Admission Counseling (NACAC), nearly 56% of colleges consider the essay or writing sample to have moderate or considerable importance in admissions decisions. With many colleges now test-optional, the personal essay often carries even more weight in helping admissions officers understand who the student really is.

In this hands-on bootcamp, students will learn how to write authentic, memorable essays that reflect their voice, experiences, and potential. Students will receive professional guidance, feedback, and support throughout the writing process so they can avoid common mistakes and create essays that feel personal, polished, and compelling.

DATE: June 15 - 19, 2026 - or - July 13 - 17, 2026
